Privacy Policy

In short: if you comment the keyword under one of my Instagram reels, a small tool called Postino sends you one private message with the resource I promised. To do that it reads your username, your comment and its time. Nothing else, nothing sold, nothing shared for advertising.
Reel Publisher: a second private tool uploads my own videos to my own YouTube channel and TikTok account through their official APIs. It touches only my accounts, never yours.

What this policy covers
This policy covers federicodonatone.com and Postino, a private app connected to my Instagram professional account through Meta's official Instagram API. Postino works only on my own account. It is not offered to other businesses.
Reel Publisher (YouTube and TikTok)
Reel Publisher is a private tool I use to publish my own short videos on my YouTube channel (Federico Donatone) and on my TikTok account (@federicodonatone) through the YouTube Data API and the TikTok Content Posting API. It is not offered to anyone else and it is used only with my own accounts.
- What it accesses: the basic identity of my own channel and account (channel ID, username, display name), the posting options TikTok allows for my account, and the upload and processing status of the videos it publishes.
- What it does: it uploads videos I made, with their title, description, tags, thumbnail and AI-content disclosure, and checks that they went live.
- What it never does: it does not read your data, your comments, your messages or your viewing activity, and it does not like, comment, follow or message anyone.
- Storage: the access tokens are stored only on my own computer, in files readable only by me. No YouTube or TikTok data is sold, shared or used for advertising.
Reel Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time from Google security settings and, for TikTok, from the app permissions in TikTok's settings.
What data Postino uses
Only when you comment on one of my posts or reels, Postino receives from Instagram:
- your Instagram username and the Instagram-scoped ID that Meta assigns to you for my account;
- the text of your comment, its time and whether it is a reply to another comment;
- the result of the message I send you (sent, failed and the reason given by Instagram).
Postino does not read your profile, your followers, your other messages or anything outside the comments on my content.
Why
- To send you the resource you asked for by commenting the keyword, once, as a private reply on Instagram.
- To make sure nobody receives the same message twice and that nobody who asked is left without it.
- To know which of my comments still need a reply from me.
You ask for the resource by commenting the keyword, and I have a legitimate interest in answering that request and running my account. Postino never posts public comments in your name or mine, never sends more than one message per comment and never contacts people who did not comment the keyword.
Who processes the data
- Meta Platforms (Instagram), which delivers the comments and the messages.
- Cloudflare, which hosts Postino and its database.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Google (YouTube) and TikTok, which receive the videos I publish on my own accounts.
I do not sell your data and I do not share it with anyone else, including for advertising.
How long
Comment and message records are deleted automatically after 12 months. The message itself stays in your Instagram inbox until you delete it.
This website
federicodonatone.com has no analytics and no advertising cookies. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.
Your rights and how to delete your data
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or its deletion at any time. Write to federico.donatone@growthcab.com or send a DM with the word DELETE to @federico_donatone. I delete everything about you from Postino within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you remove my app's access or ask Meta to delete your data, Meta notifies Postino and the deletion happens automatically.
If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
